TOPGUN has signaled support for a TGA visit for the upcoming Grad 1v1 exercise on 06-08 August at NAS Fallon. The TGA will be providing an opportunity for members to participate, this will be on a first-to-register basis and limited to 20 individuals. The TGA will provide a “landing fee” on behalf of TGA members to offset the cost for food, beverage, etc., reducing the personal cost to our TGA members.

ROE: Participants will pay for their own travel expenses, including but not limited to airfare, rental car, accommodations at Navy Gateway Inns & Suites or one of their choice, and other expenses they may incur. Participants should plan to arrive on 06 August and meet at the “O” Club at 1700 for a possible meet and greet with the CO and to review the packed schedule for the following day. The activities on 07 August will start at 0730 with the skit. Any civilian guest or non-patch wearers will be excluded from the skit. A detailed schedule of events will be distributed separately along with the invitation to sign-up, but currently anticipated activities include:

  • “O” Club meet and greet with the TOPGUN CO
  • Skit
  • Mass brief
  • CO brief TGA/guests RE: TOPGUN today
  • Visit tower to watch arrivals
  • Burger Burn with staff, class, and adversaries

  • Brief by NAWDC RE: Challenges facing Naval Aviation today
